What is Sustainr?

The word “sustainer” in nonprofit parlance is another term for a recurring giver. Sustainr is that word without an “e.”

Knowing this question probably wasn’t that literal - Sustainr is a U.S. registered C-corp which has created the world’s first recurring giving platform. We use A.I. and big data to help nonprofits create, manage and grow a recurring giving campaign.

Why is this different than my donation page?

Growing a successful recurring giving campaign is about more than just asking one-time donors to give monthly. Sustainr offers donation forms that facilitate onetime and recurring donations but but our platform is designed to help attract, retain and increase the number of recurring gifts by leveraging your organizations amazing mission and our knowledge of how to successful start and grow a recurring giving campaign.

I don’t think this will work for my nonprofit.

We hear this all the time! The truth is, if individuals give to your organization one time, there is a percentage of your supporters who would give again at a regular interval. What’s historically missing from organizations who are unable to start and grow a recurring giving campaign is either:

1. The knowledge on HOW to start and what strategies work to attract and retain recurring donors and/or

The platform is free and Sustainr uses Stripe as a donation processor. Donations are subject to any Stripe fees plus a 5.5% platform fee.

Sustainr provides donors the ability to cover these transaction fees (and most of our donors do!).
